Description

The Hard Knock Knocks Comedy School offers a unique and transformative experience for NDIS participants, combining the art of stand-up comedy with personal development. Over the course of 5 nights, participants will learn how to write, refine, and perform their own original stand-up comedy set, all under the guidance of professional comedians with years of industry experience.

This course is more than just a way to explore creativity—it provides a supportive and inclusive environment where NDIS participants can enhance their communication skills, build self-confidence, and develop new ways to express themselves. Comedy is a powerful tool for personal empowerment, offering individuals the chance to turn their unique experiences and challenges into humorous stories that resonate with others.

Why Should NDIS Participants Attend?

Confidence Building: The supportive atmosphere allows participants to face fears, break through comfort zones, and build self-esteem.
- Social Inclusion: Comedy fosters connection and social engagement, offering participants an opportunity to meet like-minded individuals and develop friendships.
- Emotional Resilience: Transforming personal experiences into humor can provide emotional relief and a new perspective on challenges, contributing to mental well-being.
- Skill Development: Participants will learn key skills such as public speaking, creative writing, and critical thinking, which can be applied beyond the stage.
- Fun and Laughter: Laughter is the best medicine, and participants will enjoy a memorable and joyful experience while learning a new skill.
The Hard Knock Knocks Comedy School is proud to support NDIS participants in their journey of self-expression, personal growth, and laughter.
